Day One

I have learnt some encouraging things!

1. I can do 54 crunches in 60 seconds
2. I can do 36 squats in 60 seconds

I have also learnt that I can do 3 twitches that pretend to be push ups. Alas. But the trainer seems to like me so far. So, whee.

Breakfast was a very small amount of museli, 2 bananas and milk. (I need to buy some cereal!)
Lunch was 2 eggs in egg curry and 3 phulkas. I'm still hungry. Sigh. Must hold out for a week, then appetite will have shrunk.
Snack 1 is chai, which seems to have VERY skim milk and sugarfree, so caloriewise I'm doing well.

Of course then I had to go ruin it all...dinner had to be out and we et:
murgh malai kabab, dal tadka, palak kashmiri kofta, roomali roti and *cringe* half a butter naan. I'm sorry! it was 9pm! I was starving!

To pre-empt a repeat, I was a good kitty and made my lunch today.

  1. Bring apples or pears with you to work, have one at 11am and another at 4 with your chai. if still hungry eat another one.
    the problem is that you are eating very small quantity of food with high caloric content for lunch. you need low caloric food in big quantities (look at the food list I sent you) that will stay in your stomach.

    The snacks will prevent binging at night and will make you eat more reasonably. you should be eating something healthy every 3 hours to keep you from feeling starving...and keep your sugar levels/ energy/ metabolism in track. Promise you will try this?

No wonder you were starving today, for example today your "zone" lunch could've been = 6 boiled eggs (remove the yolk) with the curry cooked with 2/3 tsp of olive oil, ¼ cup Chick peas, ½ Apple, 1 pulka, 3 Almonds. ALL of this is lesser calories and healthier than your lunch today and I guarantee you that you would be full. Try this next time.

  3. I always eat a little bit before going out. Yogurt and cereal or toast with peanut butter, or a piece of cheese. Restaurants take forever, and one always always orders too much and then oooh it all smells so good, I want to try it.

    Eat before, will help.
